Sri Lanka Humanitarian Trip Day 1

Ok Peeps here is the first post of my trip....DAY 1....I reach CRS(Crisis Relief Singapore) to meet David ECD my trip's Team Leader to pick up 10 Bags of donated clothes and 1 bag of medical equipment that was at 5.40pm...after which we load the things into a Maxi Cab that we have booked then we headed towards the Airport, on the way to the Airport I recieve alot sms encouragement from my CG members, Thanks for all the SMSes....we reached Airport around 6.30pm that was like half hour before the meeting time at 7pm so we went for a coffee. At 7pm we meet with the rest of the team members, everyone have people to send them off but guess what at first I thought I was going to be a loner but when Jimmy, Gabriel, Darrren and Derick shows up at the Airport, I was really completed surprised by them....They specially make a trip down to send me off and even bought two t-shirts for me, I am really very touch by you guys and not forgetting those members who have send me the smses, Love you people MUCH MUCH!! Back to the story, after the team met up we have a short briefing. Then followed by a groups photograph and then we checked in our luggage and fellowhip for half hour with those who send us off...then this trip officially begins when we start saying goodbye and stuff...

We(The Team) cleared customs and started walking towards the gate for boarding....Before I go any further let me introduce to you peeps who is in the team:

So above names mention is the team....back to the story, We boarded the plane. 3hours later we arrived at Colombo International Airport...meet with our local contact and we took a bus to a hotel in colombo for some late snacks and to chill kill some time cause we are only going to head out towards our destination only at 1am while we arrived at 11pm so need to kill 2hours of time...so all of us orders some food and get to know each another better....haha...so we moved out at 1am sharp...the road trip was like 6hours  then we arrived at our breakfast location surprisingly there is a lake beside our breakfast location....took some photos as shown below.

After Breakfast it took us another 2hours then we reach our destination Vavuniya....we checked in to our so call motel call Vanni Inn...we unload our stuff and started to go to buy first a local pre-paid card then we went to purchase the medication at local pharmacy while the doctors are purchasing the medication, me and Isabel and Kim Chwee went to get some kids stuff as I and Isabel is in-charge of playing games with the children and play with the kid basically....then we went back to our motel and have a shower and take a rest for like half hour then we move towards the Bishop's house for our Lunch...followed we went to our first Village and when we arrive there the people there welcomed us an gave each of us a flower to represent their sincerity...We started setting up the medical stations took down the medicine and started to see our first few patient...while me and Isabel start interacting with some of the kids there, we gave them sweets and balloons etc....we continue to do what we're doing till like 6.30pm when we started closed the clinic and pack the things into the bus then as the place we used is a church so after conversion we have a prayer meeting in the night from 6.45pm till 8.30pm I and Isabel shared our testimony and the local church invite us to start laying hand for the people there...the presence of God was very strong that night...everyone at the service have a strong desire for God's presence...when we started praying people started to get healed it's really just simply wonderful to see God doing his works in the Service....Praise GOD! After Service we took some photos with the local congrigration and we left the place for our dinner...after Dinner we arrived back at our motel and we had a debrief in one of the rooms....prayed and went back to wash up after slept...
